What kind of seed do you use?
While there are other possibilities, Barley and Wheat prove to be the most commonly used. However, whichever type you choose, quality is always of utmost importance. Always select seeds with a germination rate of at least 95%.
How much does it produce? How much seed?
Depending on seeding depth and quality; A 6-section hydroponic grow system can produce at least 1300 kg of feed per day, equal to more than 6 Hectares of production.
How much water does the system consume?
4500 Liters of water are used for every ton of feed produced.
What kind of environment do I need?
The HydroGreen® hydroponic grow system requires a controlled climate. One should strive for 20°C with 65% Humidity.
How do you use in a ration?
You can replace forage and/or grain in your ration. We always suggest working with your Nutritionist or Veterinarian to develop a proper ration.
